1. General Rules

1.1 Waivers

By participating in Level Up LUND!, you agree to comply with all event rules and regulations. The organizers reserve the right to modify these rules without prior notice.

1.2 Instructions from Authorities

Attendees must adhere to instructions from event staff, security personnel, and local authorities, including police and fire services, even if such instructions differ from event rules.

1.3 Zero Tolerance Policy

Level Up LUND! maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, including but not limited to demeaning language, threats, hate crimes, intimidation, non-consensual photography or recording, stalking, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome attention, and discriminatory statements based on ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, citizenship, appearance, body size, age, disability, or identity. This policy applies to all participants, including attendees, staff, press, exhibitors, and guests. Violations may result in immediate removal without refund. If you experience or witness harassment, report it to event staff or local authorities immediately.

1.4 Substance Policy

The possession or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on event premises. Individuals appearing intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will be denied entry or asked to leave. Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is forbidden indoors and permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

2. Tickets

2.1 One Person per Rental

Each table and seat ticket is designated for one person and one computer. Your ticket grants you a specific table space and chair, along with access to the event during official hours.

2.2 Refunds

All Purchased tickets are non-refundable. Illness or unforeseen circumstances do not entitle attendees to refunds.

2.3 Canceled Event and Refund Policy

If an event is canceled, please contact the organizer immediately, as they are responsible for handling any questions regarding potential ticket refunds. In the case of a canceled event, the ticket price will be refunded, minus postage and any other fees paid during the ticket purchase. To request a refund for your ticket, you must notify the organizer within two (2) months from the scheduled event date. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your right to a refund.

2.4 Contact Information

Attendees are responsible for providing accurate contact information during registration.

2.5 LAN & Power Disruptions

Disruptions to LAN or power services do not entitle attendees to refunds or reduced fees.

3. Participation at Your Own Risk

3.1 Assumption of Risk

Participation in Level Up LUND! is voluntary and at your own risk. The event organizers are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property, or personal injury.

3.2 Self-Care

Maintain regular eating and sleeping habits. Adequate rest is essential, especially if you plan to drive to or from the event.

3.3 Fiscal Responsibility

The organizers are not responsible for any economic losses related to the event, including cancellations or technical failures.

3.4 Liability

Attendees agree not to hold the organizers or associated parties liable for any claims arising from participation in the event.

3.5 Personal Belongings

Keep your belongings secure. The event organizers are not responsible for personal items.

4. Safety

4.1 Flammable Materials

Do not place clothing or other flammable materials on power stations or cables.

4.2 Electrical Equipment

Use only certified electrical equipment. Homemade devices are prohibited.

4.3 High-Power Appliances

High-power appliances such as toasters, microwaves, and refrigerators are not allowed.

4.4 Open Flames

Open flames, including candles and gas stoves, are prohibited indoors.

4.5 Littering

Maintain cleanliness in your area. Dispose of waste in designated recycling bins.

4.6 Sleeping Arrangements

Sleeping under tables or in aisles is prohibited.

4.7 Storage of Belongings

Do not store belongings in aisles or walkways. Keep your items within your designated space.

5. Electricity & Network

5.1 Electrical Disruptions

Be aware that electrical or network disruptions may occur. Event staff will address issues promptly.

5.2 Power Outlets

Connect only to your assigned power outlets. Sharing power with others is not permitted.

5.3 Power Supply

Each participant shares a power circuit with others. Overloading circuits is prohibited.

5.4 Audio Equipment

Use headphones to minimize noise. Large speakers and PA systems are not allowed.

5.5 Wireless Networks

Personal wireless access points or routers are not permitted.

5.6 Computer Malfunctions

Devices causing network issues will be disconnected until resolved.

6. Food and Beverage Policy

6.1 Outside Food and Drinks

Bringing outside food and beverages into the venue is strictly prohibited. This rule helps maintain cleanliness, ensures safety, and enhances the overall event experience. For your convenience, a kiosk inside the venue will offer a variety of snacks and drinks, while dedicated food stalls just outside the venue will serve a diverse range of meal options to cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. Please plan accordingly and take advantage of the available food and beverage options during the event.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1 Single chair usage

Each attendee is permitted to use only one chair at their designated table and seat. Stacking multiple chairs to increase height is prohibited; instead, consider bringing a cushion for added comfort.

7.2 Event equipment

Do not alter or handle Level Up LUND! cables or equipment. Use only the designated LAN cables and power outlets assigned to your table and seat.

7.3 Compliance with local laws

Violations of local laws, regulations, or ordinances may result in reporting to authorities. You may be asked to leave the event until the situation is resolved by local officials.

7.4 Unauthorized sales

Selling items without permission from Level Up LUND! is prohibited, except for occasional sales of personal belongings.

7.5 Unauthorized advertising

Distributing commercial materials, propaganda, or similar items without clearance from Level Up LUND! is strictly forbidden. Do not place stickers or flyers at exhibitor booths or activity areas without appropriate permission.

7.6 Photography and recording

By attending Level Up LUND!, you grant permission to the event organizers and their affiliates to photograph, record, distribute, and utilize your likeness, character, voice, and, if provided, biographical information in any media format without compensation or further authorization. This includes live or recorded audio, video, or photographic displays or transmissions made during the event.

7.7 Live streaming

Streaming is encouraged at Level Up LUND!; however, it is essential to remain respectful.
• Do not use loudspeakers (e.g., disable audible text-to-speech features).
• Avoid streaming in private areas such as restrooms, administrative zones, or VIP rooms.
• Ensure your streaming does not disrupt competitions, performances, panels, or attendee movement.
• If someone requests not to be filmed or featured in your stream, you must cease recording them immediately.
Violations of these guidelines may result in revocation of your access credentials and removal from the event. If you observe or experience any breaches of these rules, promptly inform event staff or security personnel.
